Maple & Mahogany Offcuts (SOLD)

A selection of Maple and Mahogany (Khaya) offcuts. Various sizes, average width/height around 35mm. As you can see in the photo, some of the Maple has mineral streaks. The Mahogany is all rough sawn, the Maple is a mix of planed and sawn edges.

Difficult to tell definitively from a photo, but I don't think they're mineral streaks. It's far more likely to be what's called "Ambrosia Maple",

Very similar looking but in this case I believe they're mineral streaks. I remember cutting that particular board and there wasn't a single bore hole, which you'd expect to see if it was caused by the Ambrosia beetle.
