I have a Makita LS1018L mitre saw and the sliders are a little jerky now and then.
I have put some machine oil on the inside of the linear bearings a few months ago but it didn't last very long so I have ordered new linear bearings, dust rings and covers.
I've taken two bearings (left side) out, cleaned them as good as I can and put them back in. The single bearing seems to be stuck really badly. I have removed the grub screws on top that secure it.
I can't see a way to get a socket on it from the inside as the sliding arm lock screw is on that side. See picture
Any ideas on how to get this out?
Thanks in advance.
