Makita BO6040 Sander

I have been contemplating the purchase of a festool rotex mainly for use on solid surface worktops. I have come across this makita at about £200 cheaper which on paper does the same thing as the rotex. juts wondering if anyone has used one and any views on it really.

I have the B06030. A very nice sander but the dust extraction setup is complete pants, getting any sort of hose on it is nigh on impossible.
