That is excellent news! I'm fed up looking at those crappy off-the-shelf windows that have about as much design finesse as a rutting elephant and more wood than glass - especially on small glazed units.

Me too, by the way I'm only making new sashes so I suppose it would be considered a repair and not be covered by regs?

I looked at the same point, and found a variety of people espousing that view - but they never had any actual evidence, and some of them seemed to be IGU makers who didn't like the competition, and didn't want to make the extra investment...

On the other hand, I couldn't find much evidence on the other side of the debate which wasn't from spacer-makers, who naturally have an interest in saying that the seals perform very well. At least they had some evidence though.
