Hi folks

I have a nice 12 x 8 apex shed with a door in the side. I'm thinking it would be much more useful to have double doors in one end.

My plan is to make a new opening in the end wall and make a pair of doors to fit (hopefully out of the t&g boards I cut out when I make the hole).

Is there anything particular that I need to take into account? Please do not save my blushes - don't want the shed to fall down, so I will be happy to hear comments that might seem screamingly obvious

Cheers Steve

Check out my workshop build. It shows how I made the end wall and the triple door. You should be able to adjust your end wall in a similar fashion and hinge the doors on either side.

Shultzy's design is nice but if you want to insulate the doors I also liked the design from here.

You can download the pdf of the article if you sign up for the free trial ( I seem to permanently live off the free trial as my card keeps getting declined from the U.S. but it keeps letting me sign up multiple times for the trial with the same card. If it's broke, but works for you, don't tell them it needs fixed!!!)
