Making Crittall doors in wood

I mean no disrespect but what you'll end up with here is a simple glass door. This is miles away from a crittal type door as per the op (correct me if I misunderstand ).
 
How are these doors going to be used? If they are going to be just a decorative room divider, do they even need to be glazed? If they don't, something very lightweight like a Japanese screen might do, or something using similar delicate construction. Plenty of pictures and videos if you Google "shoji."

Other way round, surely? A wide frame and small glass?
