Get those ends painted with something quickly!!!

What's the best thing to use for sealing the ends?

I'm due to collect about a ton and a half of mixed chestnut and fruitwoods in the next few weeks and I want to be ready...

HiZeddedhed,
I use a second hand electric frying pan and melt all the left over bits of candles that are collected from family and friends, and with Christmas coming it is a good time for collecting your wax.

I do the same as beganasatree, leftover candles melted in a pan. Smells nice when you turn it too, if they were nice candles to begin with. :-D

Mixture of cherry, yew, beech and elder I think. That's definitely everything I've got but I've got more to cut up yet, still learning the woods lol
