Hello everyone,

Nick Zammeti here, founder of the Makers Central show. We’re thrilled to announce the 6th edition of our event, taking place once again at the NEC in Birmingham this year!

Makers Central is a diverse event that celebrates creativity across various disciplines, but this year, we’re particularly focused on bringing more woodworking and woodturning back into the spotlight.

We’re actively seeking woodworking and woodturning companies to join us as exhibitors, as well as individuals interested in hosting demonstrations or selling their products at the event. If you know of any companies or makers who would be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you!

This is an amazing opportunity to connect with makers from around the globe—including the incredible Jimmy DiResta, who will also be attending.

Feel free to reach out with any recommendations or inquiries. We can’t wait to make this year’s Makers Central show our best one yet!

Thank you Nick

Can`t help with exibiting but I think I will visit the show, almost went last year but couldn`t get there.

I do wonder if you should contact Jason heap who used to run the Celebration of craftsmanship and design shows in Cheltenham.
This was the place to see the real pinnacle of bespoke furniture making and talk with the makers. I really miss those shows.

Perhaps a mini furniture show within the general one, a prize or two for different catagories.

Peter Sefton might like to sell some tools from wood workers workshop.

Thank you for this , much appreciated. i know Peter. he came to the show in 2019. look forward to seeing you at the show!

Sadly Jason Heap moved on from CCD in Cheltenham and it never really recovered after COVID.

I exhibited at Maker Central for three years, including the first one. Great fun, a very social event for visitors but just didn't generate enough sales to make it viable for us.

Please support the shows if you can, as has been said before use them or lose them.

Cheers

Peter

If there is more woodworking demo's / exhibiting going on then that would definitely give me the urge I need to turn up. I'll just put a load of stuff below for the expo of my dreams and well, I guess it won't all happen but there you go :)
