Hi, can anyone help with design, materials & build for a round top window with outward opening side hung light. Window will be in external wall therefore subject to weather. I have never 'bent' wood and would prefer not to start on this project. Window over all size is 26"W x 45"H (660mm x 1140mm) size nt critical.

If you have got to make the frame as well, perhaps you could cut it with the window to shape from one piece with a bandsaw :)

Sorry cant help further but I am sure someone will be along with a better welcome.

You need to join the timber for the arch together giving you the best grain direction and the cut the curve rough on a bandsaw and clean up with a router and template or hand plane etc . The curve will dictate how you join the top to the sides but it will be some form of mortice and tenon .
Heres one i made earlier

Hi quintain,
The easiest way as the guys said is to make the arch in laminated sctions and then shape with bandsaw, router etc, trying bend an arch for an exterior window might enough to drive you insane!
