Ive got them mate - I'm no where near finished on account of having filled my workshop with other crap ( i had to pick up all my gubbins from my old dears as shes turning my old workshop into a utility room)

I will post the plans on as agreed today (thanks for the reminder they are on the side waiting to go) and put a few WIPS as soon as ive anything worth showing off

Thought it was a shame that Blister's idea fell flat after only a couple of hurdles. I thought there was quite a few members who asked for the plan to have a go. Who knows where the plans are now. :twisted: :roll: Who needs plans anyway.

Anyway I liked the idea of a drink stand, so knocked this one up at the club yesterday afternoon. No plan, just the photo from one of the members who posted before. This is my interpretation of it.

I have every intention of making one of these but I have a slightly different design in mind.

It would be good practice Tom. A bit of everything, faceplate, spindle, and even miniature if you make the feet. Although the feet where a after thought because a lot of my lower floors are a bit uneven, old pitch pine parquet. It was rocking a bit without, so I made the feet this afternoon.

Hi Tam,

I love the spindle. So often spindles are a mass of shapes with no real direction or intent. This shows good vision or planning, or both, good tooling and generally good work. Well done.

I'm not sure about the feet but they are done with good reason and I bet they solved the problem so well done again =D> =D> =D> =D>

The Moose definately has them ... he's mentioned it on another thread in the last day..
He was having to move some stuff from his M.I.L's and has also just been getting married etc.. but he's said he's going to send them to Pete very very soon.. he's got them laid aside to sort out . 8) 8)

Its definately not 'died on the vine' ... its only been a bit delayed in the distributing :lol: BSM has it in hand 8) 8) 8)
