Been doing a bit on the Elm Cabinet II today and have jointed all the four bits together for the cabinet sides with biscuits, goes together quite well:
When I was starting to do the jointing, I had the wireless on too loud (Radio 2) and had the biscuiter the wrong way round so that the first slot went in so:
On checking the full size rod, that slot will be completely covered by one of the bearer rails on the stand.
