Bought a cheap Chinese head loop with torch if eBay. Very sceptical at only a few pounds. It came with different lenes, and I though, well here goes nothing, surely massive distortion and poor magnification......well I was amazed. It is brilliant. Looks exactly like the one in Axi!! The plastic is nit bad, the head band tightens properly and even more amazing, I can as suggested insert two of the lenses together and have higher magnification with little to any distortion.
I have a friend who owns a company that makes glasses frames. He supplies some really big names.....the price of the best quality lenses you can buy.......less than 10p each. Yep, you read it correctly. Top quality, dogs favoured bits lenses sell for 10p each within the trade. So, the reason for brining it up, high quality magnifiers shouldn't and don't need to cost that much.
