I have added a wide drum sander to my workshop and want to have connection directly to the RL 160 felder extractor when using it which will not be that often. Rather than risk compromise on the ducting suction to the rest of the machines and also compromise suction to the very dusty sanding machine, I thought that this would work best. I was thinking about magnetic connectors to switch quickly and wondered if anyone has used or does use them and if so, what brand is recommended? Although the extractor is 160mm, the flexi hose that connects to the extractor is 150mm and hope to make a cut there to insert quick magnetic connectors. Any advise is appreciated.
