I have spun the motor up once merely out of intrigue so i can vouch for it working
If i'm being truly honest bought it after a particularly good spate of work and needed to spend some money, as you do.
It's a truly substantial saw, I bought it with the intention of running it on a track to get a perfect straight edge on slabs prior to machining.
It has a 3 year warranty from 2021, I presume this is transferable but if not I'm happy to go through the process on your behalf in the unlikely event you'd need to!
After a quick search postage looks like it would be about £10 in the uk
