I think those going for £750 are the newer DDF models - not the earlier ones DD models - I guess your photos will confirm which you have.

I have this one I paid 400 for it which I thought was fair . I have seen them around 200 bur they were battered and still snapped up in two seconds . there are two versions this is the same one I have . I'm still going to buy the larger cutters and give it a try maybe try and slow the speed down a bit with a vfd . it should be OK In pine or chipboard I would guess

Regarding power , It only struggles if you force it , Like most power tools, Let the cutters do the job assuming they are sharp.

that's good news to hear thanks . one of the best thing about these is the dust extraction with the hoover plugged in there isn't even the tiniest bit of dust anywhere it's so nice to be able to join things quickly and so clean . also the retractable pins are great as you don't need to even mark anything or get the measuring tape out . a lot stronger than a biscuit in resisting flexing the joint . used it the other day for some skirting round a pipe and with polyurethane glue in five minutes you have a strong joint ready to be fitted .

Nice skirting job but those corrugated waste pipes are awful.

yeah I agree , i can't remember why I put that in but it's been there a few years and hasn't caused a problem so far so I'll leave it

Indeed they are , I also have the Mafell P3 biscuit jointer , Not sure it's worth listing as no interest in this unit.

No systainer , I do have a extra pair of CMT 8mm, I was going to advertise these separately , Used but still good and sharp, Part number 312.080.11
