Is this's recent requirement - I bought an electric HSE 81 a couple of years ago that came in the post?
When I was ill last year my wife bought a cheapo long reach trimmer from a magazine - so heavy she cannot lift it!
The photo in the advert shows a lady using it though.

It's been around for a few years I think Rod, only Stihl's policy, not a general health and safety requirement or anything. Might not affect electric tools though as they are just plug and go ?

Mad4mowers seem to be the online shop of Broadfield Mowers, a standard Sheffield Stihl dealer.
I rand them today, line strimmers and kombi line strimmers are not classed as bladed machines so do not need collecting and this should be the same for any Stihl dealer, nothing being done on the quiet.
So what to get? The 94 kombi head and FS line strimmer are list price £515, my best local dealer (I have a few in striking distance) wants £410, M4M want £355 (free shipping). I'd like to support a local business where I'm likely to go if I need spares etc but thats too big a difference in price.
