I spent a frustrating few hours yesterday trying to print envelopes.
I can set up an address in AppleWorks or in Address Book but they just will not print. The printer is an HP 1610 inkjet. Printing just stops with no error. I can print in all other applications without any problems.
Following a suggestion from the Apple Discussions forum I downloaded the Ambrosia Easy Envelopes Widget. This works well and I can print an address on an envelope. But it picks up the all the details from the Address Book except the country. This can be added within the Widget but I would rather not have to. I've posted a query on the Ambrosia support forum but have not yet had a reply.
Do any Mac users have any fail safe methods of printing envelopes that do not involve the purchase of complicated & expensive software? I prefer not to have to use labels.
