Can't find a lurcher but you might wanna check out our friend Steve Good's web site http://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/index.php. Type dogs in the search facility and have a look at the "I Love my . . ." range of dogs to see if you could slightly adapt one of those? Changing the text should be straightforward enough to say Lurcher. Good Luck.

I'm not entirely sure what a lurcher is

It's a specific type of mongrel, cross bred from a sighthound (one which primarily hunts by sight and speed, rather than by scent) and often a terrier or collie type dog.

Particularly popular with the ''illegal caravanning'' community, I believe :-D

If you haver a specific lurcher in mind, why not take a photograph using your phone, download the image onto your computer and then use one of the free graphics apps to convert the image into a line drawing. If you play around with the filters you should get a good outline which you could use as the basis of a pattern.

Cheers, I will take a look, my wife has photoshop so that should be possible :D

The lurcher in question is Tess our 15yr old Bedlington X greyhound that we had to say goodbye to just before Xmas

Hopefully you have lots of pictures of her your wife could turn into a pattern in Photoshop? If you do find a similar pattern to download, don't forget that Photoshop will open a PDF and you can add/remove and kill bits you don't need. Its brilliant at customising patterns.

Not a lurcher pattern as such, but it's quite nice ...
