Here it is 7 mil slimline kit, with unknown wood ( anyone clues ? )

Finished down to 600 only ( all i have ) 3 coats of sanding sealer denibbed after each coat, then BLO/CA , then a top buffing of nice smelling lavender wax.

And i have to admit - i am hooked !!!!!

Nice looking pen Loz, your timber looks a bit like some burr elm pen blanks I've got in the garage, which by coincidence I purchased from a chap in Ireland

Steve :)

Thanks for all the comments guys, and the wood Id !

Lovely pen I do like the blank.

In the photo it looks like a small step from the wood down to the nib if so try to take it down just a fraction more for a nice smoother finish.
This does not distract from a well turned pen for a first attempt
