This is kinda subjective....
I looked at the pile and for me, the 2 estwings and the 60 1/2 were of interest..... the rest, not so much 😆
So for me, thatd be about 70 quid.

The questions would be:
What of it do you want / need?
Will you sell the other bits?
Is this to raise money following a bereavement or simply someone offloading kit?
Family or friend of a friend?

In auction I reckon they would realise maybe £120 in total. They would probably be bought by a dealer who would sell them on as individual items and make a bit of profit out of it.

Hi it's someone on my fishing forum said was uncles that ship built/work at Chatham dock? mind trunk looks ok.
There after a swap for a rod? and ones ive left that can sell are in region £150 plus'ish? value.
small block plane and 78 caught my eye along with hand windy in drill bits! already have a decent stanley brace.
They have came back to me but havent read mail yet on there to see what they'd like/desire?

Cheers all

The seller should be telling you what they want unless you are trying to get an ides of the worth compared to the asking price. I would pay a couple hundred pounds at most in part because of the tool box and some of the individual tools are worth a fair bit. The pairing chisels for example. The saws are not very old, the machine carved details in the handles being the give away, so while users are not collector pieces. Let us know if you go for it and what the ask was and what you paid.

Does everyone of a certain vintage store little odds and ends in Golden Virginia tobacco tins? I do, they house my small drill bits, feeler guages and a set of tiny screwdrivers... as above, be interested to see what is in that tin.

No. I use St Bruno Flake - tins that is, my dad used the flake

Think these days many have progressed on to those plastic resealable tubs! So can see your toot before open box!
Had/got some tins think golden hind? have a rubbery thing underneath you pull away to let vacuum out so can open tin.
Remember when was a misspent youth/oik everyone and there dog had bacca tins for everything.
