Looking for a hinge...

Hello
I'm trying to find a hinge.
My best description would be a flat horizontally operating hinge.
Being a keen Lego fan I've attached a picture of the Lego version!
I'd like a real world version of this!

Knife hinges look right but they seem to close over the top of each other, not side by side.
Sorry I'm being really picky, I may have to review my idea...
