Where can I buy a 3mm drill bit approximately 300mm long?

never seen a 3mm drill bit that long. would have thought it would just bend then snap.

Tilgear do a set of 300mm lip & spur drills smallest is 1/8" if thats close enough to 3mm for you. They work well, I've had mine for several years.

If you can use a standard " jobber" type end then you should be able to get an "Aircraft extension" drill from somewhere like J&L

As Jason says Tilgear sells a 7pce set of brad point drills by 'Kaliber'

The sizes go from 1/8" to 1/2" in 1/16" increments, all 12"/300mm
long for £9.95 ...(code. KALWD7SET)

I know the original post was from a while back, but I was recently looking for some long bits and found that RS Components sell some rather long small diameter bits - longest I've seen anywhere

Longest 3mm they have is 3mm x 250mm
Longest 4mm is 315mm

The aircraft drills I mentioned above go down to 3/64" x 12" long, might be a bit whippy to use :wink:
