I was in Axminsters today :wink: at Sittingbourne Kent

And in the Managers special department were these 2 plains

When I asked what the score was I was told 20% off rrp maybe a bit more

Looked like they had been used , maybe customer returns ?

I would be cautious, though.

Last time I was there (couple of years ago maybe) were some reduced LN saws and planes. I asked about them and was told they were returns but perfectly OK. Some checking with a straight-edge revealed why they had been returned - warped castings on the planes, badly bent back on the saw.
