Thanks Old

I bought the digital calipers a few months ago.
They are very good and are in constant use - might get another one as back up.
Now the eyes are not what they were, the calipers are easier than struggling with a rule.

I bought a number of the rotary tool sets last year - gutted the insides and sold them on for a fiver each as (trout) fly boxes

The contents are OK ish - I'm using the polishing pastes for iron lapping

Remote control works well i can now switch dust extractor and/or compressor either in work shop through brick wall or garage where they are both plumbed in. The dimmer is not so useful for me but its all at a good price . Nothing wrong with the glue i have used it for some time so just re stocking.

I use the Express glue all the time and got three more bottles this time :D

I also have one of the calipers too

I too purchased a set of the remote sockets and calipers. I plan on modifying the calipers to make a hight gauge. I have however had problems with the sockets. I've had 4 sets of them now as only 3 out of the 4 sockets have worked in every set. In the end, Lidl made up one good set for me from the sets that I returned..... Not that I needed 4 sockets though. Only one for my extractor and one for the fans in the roof.

Anyone else purchased the remote sockets, might be worth checking all 4 sockets work before Lidl sell out.

Thanks for that

I will check mine later.

Off to help the mother in law

white_sw I think you did not read the instructions 3 are switches 1 is a dimmer and has to be set up differently (you think its dead) so you have done well and have 4 switches.

I bought the digital callipers - looked the same as one I paid over £30 for about 18 months ago, and seem to work just as accurately.

Also got a pair of cheap and nasty clamps for £1.99 - although cant complain at the price and they do work!

Most embarrassing though - I bought what I thought was an electric glue gun (could come in handy for the odd tacking job!!). It did have a picture of a glue gun on the carton  At the checkout charged £1.99 for this!! thought that far too cheap but just dropped all into the car and went off to work. Only later when checking did I realise what I had actually bought was a pack of 32 glue sticks
So looks like I will need to find a cheap glue gun :)

Cheers :D
Tony

Oops  ... Oh well, never mind.

Being from an IT profession we computer types never read instructions  ...
A dimmer would of been no use anyway, so 4 switches has to be a result for me :D

Well I have a cheap glue gun, which has fallen into a flaw in the space time continuum in the shop and I can only find several packs of glues sticks so your not alone. :x
