I've had my licence 3 years nearly. I remember something about the licence having to be re-newed, but thinking about it now. Its absolutley stupid, tax, fines and god knows what else the government takes off drivers, should be enough to re-new the cards! £17.50 how stupid.

Ahhh England with the cheap Drivers Lic. I pay $80.00 for mine and thats after Medical testing another $150.00....and its only good for 4 years.
The only difference is I can drive till I`m 100 if I past the Medical test...But who would want me on the road then?Hey Pops get it to the side of the road dang old sot.

You can drive after you are 70 but you have to have a medical, I'm not sure but I think that then allows you to go on until you are 75. If I'm wrong someone will correct me.

While speaking with my folks last night they mentioned just completing a form to renew Dad's licence. No mention of a medical and he's 76 this year. :?:

Self certification to renew at 70 and by a doctor at 75. No actual medical required.
