Liam then done some carving on the outer top part of the form , But I forgot  to take some photos

It was very nice when finished :p

I bet this was brilliant to be at. Liam Flynn is a fantastic turner and artist. What a treat to watch him.

Take care

Mark

Mark, The esteem that Liam is held was evident when we all sat down for our meal, It was a who's who of everybody who is anybody in Irish turning, apart from me of course.

Liam and Ciaran Forbes dont do many demos in Ireland and it was a privalage to see them at work .The questions that came from thoes present were way above my head, but when answered even I could understand. A truly memorable day one I will always cherish.

Fantastic, I've seen his work and it must have been a real treat to watch him in action and pic his brains but is it me or does he have his eys closed in every pic? now thats skill when you don't even have to look at what your doing!....
Chris.

Great piccys Glen :D
Glen is Liams carving finish straight off the tool or is there sanding involved :?:
Any chance of you all coming to the Brummie Bash next year

Thanks for posting the pictures Glenn, you managed to get me and Blister in stuffing our faces. I would like to thank you and Cornelia for the fantastic day,and again what a privalage to be present.
Looking fwd to Mike Mahony now. It reminds me of when I was a kid I used to get to the pictures every couple of months, the wait was unbearable and even if it was the same film it was worth the wait.
