Leigh fmt

Anyone using a Leigh fmt? Are they any good?
How good are they for making haunched m & t joints?
If anyone could post a quick video of making a haunched m & t joint it would be great

I've looked at that. Want to know how quick the process is really. I make a lot of repetitive haunched me& t joints

I've not used one for haunched tenons but it looks like a lot of setup changes to get it done. If you have to do a lot of them, I think there are better, more efficient ways. The instructions indicate the groove must be narrower than the tenon which would require a thin panel. In most cases, I think the groove would be as wide as the tenon is thick.

I would suggest Steve Maskery's Ultimate Tablesaw Tenon Jig or his Ultimate Bandsaw tenon jig for the tenons. Groove and mortise the stiles with a router. He's got jigs for that, too. See: http://www.workshopessentials.com/shop/
