Lee Valley - 3/4 holes

Browsing around the LV site (as you do) it appears they're really running with the cycle-headset-clamp technique they first used in the Veritas® Surface Clamp

It's amazing how useful a 3/4" hole can be I'm glad I standardised on them when I built my bench. The Veritas range of workbench products are so good.

I use the surface clamp to hold the far end of my shooting boards. Round holes are so much easier to ‘retro-fit’.

All the LV workbench accessories so far are either highly temptive get to or once obtain prove very handy.

I noticed somewhere that LV had 'invented' a jig to hold a chisel, so it could be used as a plane blade. Have they merely 're-invented the wheel'? Surely this was the origins of bench planes. a wide chisel, held in a jig?

Tools for the sake of gadgetry in some cases.

Although, I might treat myself to one of their flush-sided saws.
