oh I like the idea of the bench anchor. I also see that in my future.
 
It's amazing how useful a 3/4" hole can be :) I'm glad I standardised on them when I built my bench. The Veritas range of workbench products are so good.

All the LV workbench accessories so far are either highly temptive get to or once obtain prove very handy.
 
I noticed somewhere that LV had 'invented' a jig to hold a chisel, so it could be used as a plane blade. Have they merely 're-invented the wheel'? Surely this was the origins of bench planes. a wide chisel, held in a jig?

Tools for the sake of gadgetry in some cases.

Although, I might treat myself to one of their flush-sided saws.
