I see this all the time if I don't supervise my site chippies - they simply don't understand the purpose of the braces.
It seems even the manufacturers/retailers don't get it either.
There is no hope.

All the same a good price, I couldn't make one for that amount.

I see the ledges are cut short, what happens if you want to fit strap hinges on the ledges side, ie if it was for a bedroom door.

I couldn't make one for that price either unless it was from off cuts from a bigger job
