Leather Belt Alterations

SWMBO has a lovely belt tyhat can be changed into several options of colour. Hsh had it many years ago and now it is too tight, but would like to have it enlarged. Does anyone know where this could be done please. The best option would be to enlarge to rear section by unscrewing it and fitting a longer one, but ideally to match. If that wre not possible, changing the 3 sections with another two sided white and brown could be done.

I'm trying the same and have just e-mailled a belt maket in Birmingham. It is an unusual belt, not seen one like it before and since, but it may need all the three sections replacing with different two coloured leather. It's on;y 1" wide and may even think about buying a 1" two sided belt of larger size and trying it myself.(just thought of that)

i think that you will struggle. I would find a small, one man band belt maker and ask him to recreate it, using your hardware. Even if you could expend it, getting textures and colours to match would be nearly impossible and it would stand out. I have seen this chap on youtube and he seems to know his stuff. http://www.ianatkinson.net/leather/ he seems to use veg tanned leather so it may not be something he could do, but worth an enquiry.
