Lathe Multifix tool holders.

Hi folks.

Anyone know of a source of multifix holders anywhere? I'm in the need of a few 540-113, after hours of searching around I found a company in Germany who had some in stock, sadly they were the wrong size so I'll have to re-sell those.

These things are seemingly out of stock everywhere at the moment, if anyone has a source please let me know.

In my experience multifix have a size prefix - AA for myford size lathe up to E I think. If you know what size your toolpost is it'll be easier to find them. If yours are size A I might be interested as its what I use on my hardinge and smart and brown. I have had multifix stuff from pewe tools in the past, very helpful guy.

Sadly all I know is the tool post is suitable for a 220 swing (over carriage), The dimensions of the multifix cylinder are 60x46 if that helps?

That's a size A. Same as I have on my machines.

Have a look at here they make clones of the original, they seem to have a good reputation but whether they interchange with the original Swiss model I don't know -- hope this helps
