Lathe DRO on my DIY router table

I'm putting together a router table with a Enjoywood lift from Banggood and so far it's going well, I also have a lathe and I thought I could use a DRO on the lift to measure the cutter height.
It fitted really easily using an existing hole on the lift.

I did this with a Wixey DRO which is made for this purpose.

See the small bracket on the bottom left corner …

That is the Wixey DRO folded back … and now flipped up …

To use, first install a router bit …

Lift the bit …

… flush with the table top.

Now set the Wixey to zero …

Finally, raise the router bit to the desired height. Here it is 6mm (one can work in Imperial as well as Metric) …

Looks good, I'm going to see if I can design and 3D print a mounting bracket for the display so that it sits under the table and maybe make it slide in and out so it's protected when not in use.

I just googled the wixey and even though I like the fact it runs off AAAs it's nearly 3 times the price of the one I bought.
