Hi all

It has been ages since I posted anything. So I thought I would post this piece that I have recently finished.

It is turned in sycamore, around 5 inch dia x 8 inches high, textured, coloured with a bamboo handle, sat on a slate plinth with a found pebble.

Stunning Mark,

I can almost makeout the Tiger hiding in the foliage !

Im always blown away by the simple additions that really make your pieces - like the plinth and pebble,

Is the handle wrapped with wire at the lid ?

The handle is wrapped in black cotton thread as a reflection of the way bamboo is tied together in Asian gardens for fencing etc.
