Hi Guys, I hope someone can help. I have just come back to my laptop to find that the symbols (not the letters) have gone haywire. For instance if I press the shift key to print the quotation mark above the 2 I get the @ sign and if I press the @ sign I get the quotation mark  Then if I press the pound sign I get the #, but I do not get the pound sign if I press the # key, I get a \.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Mike

You have been reset to a US keyboard. Check to see if there is some text "EN" in the right of the status bar. Clcik this and make sure it says UK english.
