SWIMBO has just dropped a sharp object on one of our Lam floors and taken a chunk out, about 4mm by 6mm. Is there some repair medium for these floors.

how deep, what's the laminate over and is is a veneer laminate, engineering board (much thicker wear layer) or a print of wood on board?

I would suspect that each will have different methods!

Hi Pete, I take it that this is not a wooden floor but the ordinary laminate, I have seen for sale at B&Q some kind of resin that is especially for this.

I got really confused after replying to this post in general chat then finding it here without my reply :?

You can use the colorfill solvent that is used for sealing joints in laminate worktops. Should be able to get it from b&q.

Thanks folks, I first put it into off topic and then realised it probabley comes under general. It is not real wood and the chip is about 1.5 mm deep. Sorry about the confusion

You want a hardwax repair stick that you melt in. Look on ebay. Konig is a good make.
