That is absolutely ridiculous for a biscuit jointer, it will not perform any better than the Dewalt for £300 cordless or 110 volt for £238. There are other jointing methods that would deliver the required results, with a router table you could use a lock mitre joint, this from Wealdons

Yes but it isn't it aimed for site work where everyone wants cordless so cost is not so much an issue

The chippies I know on site would never pay that much ,more so with the rates today.
