Requested by my sister for a friend's 60somethingth birthday. Thanks to DaveO on SG's forum for making the pattern for me.

That's really nice, takes me back to my teen years when I spent more time mending one of these than riding it! Should've bought a Vespa great scrolling though

Really good Martin , I never got the chance to try anything like that, oh well just have to rely on you folk to do it .
There is a Lambretta club in my area and when the weather is good you might see anything between 10/20 scooters out on a run . Thanks for showing .

Martin.

There is no doubt that is a Lambretta, looks good.

Smoggy.

If you wanted practice at clutch changing, then Vespa was the scooter to have, my uncle had one many years ago, I think it was how many clutches to the gallon, rather than mpg.

Take care.

Lovely job Martin. I've been hankering after making a Vespa pattern for a little while myself, but that is even better. 8)

I could never afford a lamretta, had 2 vespas though, px125 with chrome and whatnot, nd when I passed my test px200e, complete with audio system.

At 18 I never was mechanically minded, and didn't check the clutch fluid. Ended up with it failing in drive. Had to pull. Away as gentle as possible, wheelieing every time and the chap who put a new clutch in (Ellesmere port, the one by the docks) said it was the worst he had seen, each clutch spring was literally a straight bit of metal.

Used to do the scooter runs for a few years as well...

But excellent scrolling!

Very neat, do you use a guide for the straight lines EG the L?? or is it just down to experiance and a good saw??

Very nice Martin but wear are the mirrors and tiger tails.

:D
I've owned motorbikes since the early 1960's, and I always removed as much weight as possible, so I thought all the scooter paraphenalia was ridiculous, though I must say I wasn't actually anti-scooter.
