Hi All,

I have just brought a kreg pocket hole jig k4 and would like to know best place to buy the screws , as unable to find any Kreg pocket screws in Screwfix?

Also has anyone made a mounting plate to help clamp in position when using?

Also any other useful tips regarding the jig.

Thanks for the help.

The K4 is a good pocket hole jig, I have mine mounted on a board that supports the workpiece on each side which is more stable.

The screws can be got from

https://bivenmachinerysales.co.uk/p...ointing-systems-pocket-hole-jigs/kreg-screws/

or

https://thetoolboxscotland.co.uk/search?q=pocket+hole+screws&options[prefix]=last

You need to look at clamping arrangements to keep both parts flush and tight whilst driving the screws in and there are some good books

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pocket-Hole-Drilling-Project-Book/dp/1558706879

Bear in mind that you cannot have one joint that is good in all situations even if some books want to make you think this. For heavier projects you might want to look at the Kreg HD jig .
