I presume you're looking at the one in Falkirk. Looks pricey to me. I bought a 613 for the same price with 9 blades a few years ago which is a much better bet. It's still pretty much the only bandsaw in it's size class to be able to take a one inch blade. The 612 looked as if it was made from baking trays.

yep you got it correct had got myself settled on a dewalt 738 but the kity popped up and your right it does look like its made from baking trays.there does`nt seem to be many bandsaw come up for sale around here there all down south

For a bit more dosh you could get this, ok its a smaller machine but it has a warranty, I dont have a bandsaw yet and I'm tempted by it, anyone else got the Record power BS 250 ?
