Yes I think so too, but it has three 420mm tracks in a case, which would be far more convenient, I just wondered if anyone can comment on the flatness of the track when co-jointed, the right ups do not say what the problem is.

Scheppach own the Kity brand now (which was a French company). Just Scheppach rebadging the Scheppach/Grizzly tracksaw targeting those in France that remember the brand as it was...

So nobody knows the answer to the original question repeated above, shame seems like a good product if the track's can be made/kept flush.

Mike

I think you have your answer - it is identical to the Scheppach/Grizzly, so whatever problems you see with those you will see with this - it is an identical saw.

There is little point paying any premium for this over the Scheppach given they are the same.

I have not seen the Scheppach track saw with the 420mm tracks in a box set, can you post a link?

Mike

The length might be different but the profile is identical and the plastic friction strips are identical. It is the same saw do you aren't going to have different results. You could even just buy a longer Scheppach track and use it with it.

The whole point of the post in the first place was asking if anyone had one and can enlighten me as to its problems with the small tracks joints, buying a longer track defeats the object of the saw and tracks in a nice compact portable form.

Mike

Search for Scheppach tracksaw opinions - the jointing mechanism will be exactly the same

You won't find anyone in the UK who has one.
Scheppach now own the brand name and sell the exact same saw under different names into different markets.

I have the scheppach, but got it with the 1400mm track so can't comment on the mechanism for joining them I'm afraid. I don't think you can get 420mm tracks for it though, the smallest is 700mm.

Whilst researching the saw, I didn't come across anyone complaining that joining the tracks caused problems.

Thank you to those who bothered to read my first and subsequent posts and have tried to answer my question. :D

I have known for a number of years that Scheppach own the rights to the Kity brand.

Hmmm. I think your question was clearly understood. In the absence of anyone at all owning this particular Kity rebadging I think you got as good as you can get. Complaining about responses on a free site where people are attempting to help voluntarily strikes me as a little strange...

What I find strange is answers that have no content pertaining to the question, forums seem to attract people that just like to see themselves in print.

Don't ask questions if you don't like responses. I think your assumption is bizarre

I think that all your responders have read your first post and have tried to help.
I see that you seem to live in the UK and France best you ask the question in France if you want a specific answer about the Kity saw those of us in the UK know it is the same saw sold under different brand names.
Your real name is not Mr Bariner by any chance.
