Hi men,
Just looking for reassurance after a "salesman" stuck his oar in.
Installing kingspan into structure/shuttering.
I was planning to just jam in to the shuttering cavities.
Is that OK, or should there be a breathing gap.? how big.?
Should I be using these special Ancon clips and not touch the structure at all.?
My wall is shiplap, 25mm airgap, reflectashield, 9mm ply, shuttering/structure/kingspan 100 thick.

thanks
Howard

What are you building? Any type of insulation in a cavity wall normally requires an air gap between the insulation and the outer wall, to reduce moisture transmission.

By shuttering do you mean the studwork of a timber framed building? -sorry Ive not heard the term shuttering before, so Im probably being thick!
