Hi
I have just acquired a Kerry Super 8 (mk1, I think). The pulley cover is missing, and I think someone's retro-fitted a replacement motor (the latter probably being the reason for the former), but it's a sturdy bit of kit, and I am pleased.
There's no bolt where the column fits in to the base, so currently when trying to adjust the table, the whole thing swivels.
My question is - is it simply missing a bolt? The base/foot doesn't have a slot cut in it to "pinch-up" around the column, so I don't see what a bolt alone will achieve. Should there be some sort of cammed piece inside the cast base that snugs up against the column to hold it firmly?
I hope that makes some sense to anyone who's familiar with these drills.
Many thanks
