Just saying hello

I found this site just before Christmas & thought I would say hello this morning.
I have been scrolling for a few years now,more off than on! That has changed recently though due to me getting the saw set up somewhere warm.
I still consider myself at the early stages of learning scrolling but have sold a few items. The money from this goes to keeping a small colony of Red Squirrels fed. :lol:
I usually scroll wood that I have milled myself & use a lot of Birch, Oak, Sycamore etc. I am also working some Gean (Wild Cherry) at the moment. This was destined for somebody's firewood but I got their first & popped it through the saw into 1/4,1/2,3/4inch planks.

Greetings - forum rule number 1, no pics, it didn't happen Red squirrels are fairly rare down this way, think I have only ever seen 1 in the wild. Did catch a sight of a black squirrel the other week as well, which I believe are moving in at the expense of the greys?

If you are good enough at scrolling to sell your work then good for you - lets see some pics
