Can't you get some aftermarket guides such as the Carter ones or some other brand and make them fit somehow?
What do you mean ”aftermarket?” It semester very difficult to ”make” guides that don’t fit fit. Why Carter, specifically?

No reason for Carter specifically, they’re just a company that exclusively makes bandsaw guides. It’s not too difficult to make aftermarket guides fit another bandsaw, a plate here and there with a bolt here and there should be enough on most machines. Have a look online for “bandsaw guides” and you will come across hundreds of them of different types.

I deeply apologize for not paying attention to my last post btw. Autocorrect is a plague on humanity.

No problem, I understood what you meant :D

I made this setup for a friend a couple of years ago now for his Elu bandsaw which the original diecast, carbon block blade guides had shattered from over-tightening:

There was probably about £50 in material and bearings, it wasn't too complex to do but it would be hard to do the camshafts without a metal lathe. The most difficult bit was coming up with the shape of the bottom guide which still allowed the table to tilt to 45 degrees, hence why it's a funny shape. Most of it was done with a hacksaw and filing.

That's an excellent idea you got there... the only problem is that I never work with metal. I'm doing this for my mother, to fix up her house. I don't think she even has the tools for it, and I certainly don't. Don't exactly know how to move forward o_O
