Today I've spent the day trying to make the best of a bad job. My parents have got a manufactured shed that was admittedly put up about 10 years ago now. However, the shed has subsided and today we planned to remedy it. After clearing out the shed, found out that the floor on the one side had rotted, and so the wall of the shed went down causing the whole structure to go to one side. To fix it, really it needed taking apart and a new floor, however, this wasn't really an option, so the cheapest way to go was to brace the two gable ends. Hopefully this will fix the problem.
Anyway, my little note is to all reading, that if you are going to erect a pre-fab shed make sure you raise it off the ground so air can get underneath the flooring and thus preventing it from rot!
Oh, how the holidays create stupid jobs for us! :x :ho2
