Hello Al,

I agree those rays are quite something. I managed to get them to join up on the two front corners. Had to make sure my mitre joint was spot on first time!

The Cocobolo is also a stunning wood and the two seem to compliment one another.

Missus is happy as well.

The lady should be pleased with that box, and let you purchase some more timber at Yandles for more projects.
Theyve got. Purple heart, Wenge, lacewood, etc.etc.etc.
(didnt do anygood with the yew I purchased last year tho, it had internal splits within the timber, unseen from the outside)
