Hello,

I recently bought one of these, and finally got to have a good play with it yesterday. For a small bench top machine, I am very pleased with the performance (it zipped through 4 inch iroko, on a fine toothed blade, with no effort).

However, the fence is, well... a bit poo. However much I tighten it, it tips off the vertical, making very accurate cutting impossible.

Has anyone else encountered this wih bandsaw fences, and are there better aftermarket replacements available? It's the type that when a lever is pushed down, it grips at either end of the table. Except it doesn't.

Thanks!

I noticed no one has replied to this message so thought might help for a solution.

I dont own a bandsaw but their will be after market options normally are for them types of machinery JET

Try asnwering the question on www.festoolownersgroup.com Im sure you will get some one who will answer you question sooner. I know their are some Festoolians from there on here already I am one of them and I have seen others.

My suggestion is maybe to try and make something which is perpendicular to the fence and can move side to side with the fence and then be tighten to make the fence solid. You will find the more expensive machinery use this technique on very long guide fences
