I Thought I had dropped a massive BOO BOO when trying to assemble my new extractor

It Came in 2 crates :?

And in the assembly instructions said " Have 4 people to lift the top motor fan housing into place , or a CRANE :shock: :shock:

After much deliberating and head scratching #-o #-o #-o

I had to ask my eldest girl if she could muster her boyfriend a his friends to come and assist

So on Sunday morning the big lift took place :roll:

How tight is this ? notice the black paint on the roof :lol:

mate, I'd send it back - there's a massive gap between the can and the cyclone; you'll suffer a significant drop in performance. If Axminster kick up any stink I'll take it off your hand for 1/3 off so you don't need to be down too much...

I have the Oneida equivalent and, yes, it is good at both dust and chippings - well worth the money. The Oneida motor fan assembly is also a very heavy and a high lift.

By the way, did Blister say he had just got to wire it up? Isn't there the small matter of installing some ducting?

You could always lay it down flat?

I think that would defeat the gravity effect on the cyclone.

I too am very interested to see how you get on with, especially real fine dust.

Definately be good to see how the fine dust, like sanding dust etc is coped with.
Pretty easier to suck up chippings, but nearly all good chip collectors are poor dust collectors, thats why I've been holding off to find a good all-in-one so long!!
