The name plate is very well done but I think the box looks better without it on, covers that nice figured piece on top. Could you not have it inside at all?

I only positioned it on top to take a pic of Pauls workmanship it will be glued on the inside of the lid to the right, if you look again at the last pic you can see the space for it :lol:

A a lovely job on the box, I made a plaque for my SS edge plane all I have to do now is make the box.

I have a piece of Amboyna burr I think I might use.
