Itech machinery / Drum Sander

Hi all i have been looking at this machine from Scott and Sargeant online and wondered if anyone has any first hand reviews on the machine? just over £1000 inc vat seems like a decent price if its a good machine but also a lot to waste. https://www.scosarg.com/itech-3140c-400 ... r-230v-1ph
Also does anyone know anything on the itech brand in general?

I'm pretty sure iTECH is Scott-Sargeant's own brand name. The actual kit is much the same as many other well known suppliers. I have an iTECH power feeder and it's a decent product. I wouldn't have any qualms in buying from them. WRT the sander, I notice it has an adjustable and removable stabilising plate on the free end of the drum housing. This is a worthwhile inovation. I think I'll try and rig up something similar on my old JET machine.

The only Itech machine I’ve used is their 3 wheel power feeder, It’s build quality and finish was much better than the more expensive Maggi Steff feeds we had at the time. No idea what their actual machines are like but they don’t look too bad for the money.
